Bulk product changes you can check and undo
A planned Shopify app for bulk price and catalog edits. It saves a snapshot, shows you the change first, checks every field afterward, and tells you plainly what it could and couldn't restore.

Why this exists
In public app reviews, store owners describe bulk edits going wrong in ways that are hard to spot and hard to reverse.
Wrong prices across a store
Some merchants report discounts or price changes that came out wrong on many products at once.
A revert that doesn't fully revert
Others report that going back left some prices changed, and they found out later.
No clear record
When something looks off, it's hard to see which values changed, what they were before and what's still wrong.

This is a simulation with made-up products. It doesn't connect to any store, and the app doesn't exist yet.
What the app would not do
- Undo after uninstalling. Removing the app ends its access to your store, so run any undo first and keep the report.
- Overwrite later edits. If you or another app changed a value after the bulk edit, it would report that and let you decide.
- Undo changes made elsewhere. It would only cover changes it made itself.
- Bring back everything. Some actions can't be fully reversed. Replaced variants, for example, get new IDs.
- Promise a perfect result. Checks reduce risk, but they can't remove it. Keep your own backup too.
